Hands-on Hyperbarics

Hands-on hyperbarics
November 17

The International Hyperbarics Association is proud to have joined forces with  ACAM  to bring medical professionals a unique opportunity that combines both Classroom and Hands on Hyperbaric Training.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one of the most sought after and used therapies for various Neurological conditions such as Autism, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Sport Injury, Chronic Fatigue and more.

This course will not only provide the knowledge to successfully implement Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy into a practice, but will also provide hands on experience to operate both mild hyperbaric chambers (up to 1.3 atmospheres) and a steel chamber (up to 3 atmospheres).

Presenters include: Physicians specializing in hyperbaric protocols, Technicians and Directors who successfully implemented and manage HBOT Facilities, as well as HBOT Marketing Liaisons and HBOT Advocates Who Promote the Use of HBOT

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one of the most sought after and used therapies for various Neurological conditions such as Autism, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury,
Cerebral Palsy, Sport Injury, Chronic Fatigue and more.

As research develops in these areas, so does the interest of patients seeking hyperbarics. This has created a shortage of physicians and healthcare practitioners needed to implement HBOT into their practices so that they can serve this growing population of patients who are seeking out hyperbarics.
This course will not only give you the knowledge to successfully implement Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy into your practice, but will also provide hands on experience to operate both mild hyperbaric chambers (up to 1.3 atmospheres) and a steel chamber (up to 3 atmospheres).
Presenters include: Physicians specializing in hyperbaric protocols, Technicians and Directors who successfully implemented and manage HBOT Facilities, as well as HBOT Marketing Liaisons and HBOT Advocates Who Promote the Use of HBOT

Upon completion of this course you will:
  • Understand current and new research regarding Hyperbaric Therapy that is relevant to all practices and how HBOT is helping so many patients with underlying Neurological conditions.
  • Have hands-on experience operating both hard, higher pressure hyperbaric chambers and mild, portable hyperbaric chambers
  • Know how to get hesitant patients into chambers.
  • Discover different ways to implement HBOT into your practice based on patient's need, budgetary constraints, and practicality.
  • Learn how to market your HBOT services: Pricing, packaging, and what is the best way to reach those people that really need your services.
  • See how to implement an HBOT routine and managing your schedule
  • Address Forms, disclosures, and releases – what does it take to be completely up and running: From Fire Marshalls, to trained technicians, to patient paperwork. What do you and don't you need.
  • Explore patient programs and financing options – making HBOT a financial win/win for both you and your patients

With the latest positive research in Autism and HBOT, it is a therapy that alone will keep you very busy with your autism population. If you are not already treating Autism, you may want to consider it as the numbers of diagnosed children grow in this country.

This is the first time this workshop is being offered at this location.
After attending this day long course, you will have all the necessary tools to begin offering hyperbarics within your practice and to start helping patients seeking this specialized therapy.
Due to the nature of this course warranting one-on-one attention to each attendee for detailed course instructions, seating is limited.

Registration fee:
ACAM Members: $549    Non-Members: $649    Non-Physician: $449
